How do you manage influence from corporate/unelected people? • Good question – there is a need to have a fine balance. And also have party involved in that as well. • Normally go by constituents: Pam gave one example when she did not, this was something quite unusual for her – on the Gender recognition Bill. She voted no with a split of 100 for, and 100 against. • If I get negative feedback I keep in touch with them and explain why I’ve done it, and voted in the way I have.
