Develop a guide for effective committee work for Members

Effective scrutiny can take many forms, and a guide could support staff to engage committee members and conveners in reflection on different models and approaches to consider. A guide could also use case studies on how different types of evidence and diverse expertise (e.g. research evidence, lived experience) can be used to achieve impact. This type of information is already provided to some committees in Business Planning Days. This was a recc. in the Stirbu report: https://shorturl.at/wxNS5.

Points

Agree with this - and it could be broadened out to have a shared discussion about what scrutiny 'impact' actually looks like, and how we can better monitor and evaluate it.
