Effective scrutiny can take many forms, and a guide could support staff to engage committee members and conveners in reflection on different models and approaches to consider. A guide could also use case studies on how different types of evidence and diverse expertise (e.g. research evidence, lived experience) can be used to achieve impact. Agree with this - and it could be broadened out to have a shared discussion about what scrutiny 'impact' actually looks like, and how we can better monitor and evaluate it.
