It would be good to use all the funds to create a community hub, perhaps working in partnership with one or more of the existing grass roots community hubs that have lost out on core funding. The Gorbals needs long-term investment, that can only be achieved by injecting a larger pot of money into a more focused project. This would attract more funding, create more jobs, and be more sustainable.

The Gorbals definitely needs a dedicated community space that is modern, fit for purpose, inviting and flexible to the needs of different community members and groups.
