I recommend discussion of the political benefits in developing an off-shore wind energy industry. Will Gippsland regions have increased political importance at Federal and State levels? What might this look like? Will security and surveillance of the turbine array and cables be increased to ensure a secure energy supply to the grid? Should community benefits be mandated and adjusted to the CPI and be enshrined in the initial auction process?
Can wind turbines produce baseload power on demand for industry or will we always need backup
Do we know the exact cost, Exact size, output or manufacturer
The damage/impact to the sea life/species needs to be seriously considered.
It would be good to explore the contribution that this project will make to reducing our fossil fuel dependency
