Discussion: Format - fun vs workshops?

Discussion: Format - fun vs workshops?

We discussed at a previous Steering Group meeting that we wanted the Communities Open Day to feel fun and relaxed as opposed to overly formal and structured. Do we feel that the activities we have planned so far strikes the right balance? How do we ensure the Communities Open Day has the right feel and also leads to useful outcomes for all participants? Please comment below to help shape the discussion at the next Steering Group Meeting.

Points

I think the fun aspects can still come through while still having some semi-structured aspects. Based on activities listed so far - some can be open all day activities; some can be repeatable sessions - hosted at key times of the day; and others can be one sessions. Main thing is having the balance of enough things to do to meet everyone's needs.
