Hunterston Nuclear Power Station.

Hunterston Nuclear Power Station.

How does this impact on Community Wellbeing? Hunterston has been re-started even although there have been reports about it being unsafe due to extensive cracking to its core and shield. Why should the Committee focus on this as part of their future work? If there should be a nuclear explosion at Hunterston, this would mean vast loss of life on the West Coast and in the Scottish Central Belt, not to mention making the area unfit for human habitation for centuries to come. Please have an independent enquiry into its safety to give the public in this area peace of mind.
