Waste Water Treatment For Historical Settlements

Waste Water Treatment For Historical Settlements

How does this impact on Community Wellbeing? Impact to enjoyment and use of local watercourses Why should the Committee focus on this as part of their future work? There are a huge number of untreated & poorly maintained private discharges entering the water environment, which cause visual, odour and perceived health impact preventing people from enjoying it. It should be mandatory for Scottish Water or another body to pick up discharges from villages that remain either untreated or with individual septic tanks they don't empty or maintain. Networks for historical settlements should not be done only where it is cost effective for sewerage rate increases.
