How does this impact on Community Wellbeing? More frequent buses make me available for my job and fir my community. I invest less in my travel and can afford my home, bills, environs and allow both moneuy and time to be spent in my immediate, isolated community. Why should the Committee focus on this as part of their future work? Many areas of scotland have this issue . Many folk have this concern. The environmental impact of resolving the running of many clapped out bangers on bad roafs would be significant.
Reliable, sustainable transport links improve social connections, mobility and increase use of public transport. I have a bus pass but have to drive at least 15 miles to be able to access a bus service. Families without private transport are isolated as are others who do not have a vehicle.
