eradicate odour pollution in communities

How does this impact on Community Wellbeing? We reside in a community near to a local authority recycling plant and have been blighted by obnoxious odours from the plant for many years. The obnoxious odours are present daily and the complaints from the neighbouring communities have fallen on deaf ears. Why should the Committee focus on this as part of their future work? The gases from these recycling sites have adverse effects to health and personal wellbeing and also have an adverse effect on climate which should be particularly pertinent to all. The communities affected should have recourse to the public bodies like SEPA, Fife Council and Scottish Government and perhaps have greater effect through this forum.

Points

Many communities suffer from various pollution problems and we should be eradicating these problem areas.
