How does this impact on Community Wellbeing? It gives all young people access to a relaxing, quiet space as well as helps them all to have access to high quality reading materials no matter how much money their parents have. This all helps with mental wellbeing. Studies have shown that a really good school library also helps pupils do better in exams (all subjects) Why should the Committee focus on this as part of their future work? Children are our future and they deserve to have this support. Our First Minister reads a lot and knows how important it is so why is it that my school library is closed?
