Abolish domestic flights

Abolish domestic flights

What change do you want to make now to address the climate change crisis? The Government states 'Climate emergency' but is encouraging more long-haul flights to come to Scotland. It's conflicted messaging. What do you need to make this change? Consistency

Points

There is absolutely no need to fly within the UK.

We need to stop flying so much and use trains more, especially within the UK.

Typical anti-island viewpoint. How would people get to and from Shetland/Orkney? And what about trips to other parts of the world without direct Scottish flights? Abolishing domestic flights would cause people to fly further to Amsterdam or Paris to connect to flights, meaning they would fly further.

Listen here Jack, if you live on an island you can sail to the mainland like a real man.
