What change do you want to make now to address the climate change crisis? Encourage use of natural fibres for clothes, accessories, bedding to,reduce use of petroleum-chem derived polymers which produce wash out particles What do you need to make this change? Reduce petrochemical extract & production. Tax the hell,out of acrylic clothing & encourage wool & some eco plant fibres
Clothing waste is a big problem in the western world, as is reliance on plastics and petroleum-based materials. This would be a major step towards reducing that reliance and towards lessening the impact that our clothing industry has on the environment in terms of plastic pollution.
