Students who normally pick up full time jobs/ overtime over the summer are unable to do this. As a young adult who is trying to be financially independent this is now impossible for me and I have had to go back to relying on my parents for support for rent etc. I am lucky my parents are able to support me financially but there will be huge numbers of students who will not have this luxury and are seriously struggling. Universities are offering very little/ no support for this.
