Unconventional work experience for unprecedented times

With many typical part time jobs (hospitality, clothing retail etc) on hold during the pandemic and internships being cancelled, employers must recognise the value of volunteering and social action as work experience. Many young people have been engaging with digital youth work and helping with community resilience groups there needs to be an opportunity to share this experience when applying for jobs. Ask young people what they did during lockdown, what they learned and how they felt.
