The Scottish gov needs to liberate its business environment. It can do this through cutting scottish tax rates on businesses, incentivising councils to cut business rates and launching tax incentive schemes to attract big foreign businesses to our shores (with the well paid white collar jobs people actually want when they graduate). It must also work on developing our start up scene, say through grants/start up loans to promising new businesses esp in tech, & end the threat of secession from UK.
