As a recent graduate, I have been having a look at the job market. While there are plenty of jobs, it seems employers aren't willing to take a risk on new graduates for whatever reason. Myself or others I know have applied for jobs both inside and outside of our fields of study and have received one of 3 responses. Either no response at all, a rejection email or being told we haven't got the relevant experience.
