I have have 2 degrees, (undergraduate and masters) and they feel completely useless. Employers are also taking advantage of desperate jobseekers by asking for degrees for non-degree roles (call centre work etc) also the salary advertised on graduate roles has dropped considerably, with a huge portion now offering £17/18k while asking for degrees. More needs to be done to prevent this and to help 2020 graduates into jobs they’ve qualified for.
I totally agree - young and unemployed people seem to have been forgotten in the pandemic.
