The Scottish Government should call out to any adequately teaching staff to support those teachers who have been stretched out too thin.
I understand that all teaching staff require to be General Teaching Council Registered. I presume that the call out would be directed at recently retired GTC registered teachers. However, given their age would they not be seen to be at risk?
I know a few ex teachers that left the education system early because of how badly they were resourced and treated, this government would have to substantially improve conditions for any of these educators to return, maybe on a short term basis they could be persuaded. .
