The Scottish Parliament should engage with people who work in industries currently impacted by furlough such as events and hospitality to find ways of strengthening industries post-pandemic or supporting workers to be redeployed or reskilled to work in other sectors.

Realistically, are we looking to 2022 before venues start taking bookings and Festival organisers start programming events? In the meantime, the Government needs to continue to support cultural organisation sand venues and recognise that this support may need to continue for longer than other sectors.
