Should we be restricting international travel like Australia

Jason: • Travel is something that warrants attention but it is difficult in Scotland because it gets very political. It could be travel between areas of Scotland, in to Scotland from the rest of the UK, it could be the UK from the rest of the world. Australia and New Zealand have a “societal contract” whereby they can live relatively normally but there is no international travel and if you are Australian you cannot return without entering a waiting list (up to three months) and isolating for 2 weeks upon return at your own expense. It is worth looking at here but a lot to consider. Would we accept it? Who would pay? Heathrow is something like the third biggest transport hub in the world.

Points

It was reported that 10,000 people are arriving everyday into UK.
