Levers for Green Recovery and Economic Recovery Future prospects for young people has been affected from the last year. Strong case for the Government to intervene to try and help these young people into better trajectories. Invest in skills development and education. In the interest of overall economy, improve the labour market for young people. Covid has led to significant changes to behaviour, temporary and permanent. For many young people their first experiences have been in hospitality and they have suffered from the pandemic. What is our alternative strategy for helping young people?


The minimum wage is age related. Is this fair on young people? Should there not be a universal minimum wage? 21-24 Year Old Rate, £8.20, 18-20 Year Old Rate £6.45 16-17 Year Old Rate £4.55
