The Role of Taxes in Scotland

Parliament should carry out a fundamental examination of what the Scottish tax system is designed to achieve. The review would look the role of tax policy in achieving a just sustainable and strong economy as we recover from Covid-19. This work would provide a stocktake on where we are in terms of how we have used the tax powers available in Scotland, and how they should be used in the future.
