Protecting and restoring nature

Protecting and restoring nature

Scotland’s natural heritage is in danger, with many species threatened by extinction from the UK, and our current world is already poorer in nature than it should be. This is as a result of habitat destruction, agriculture and fishing intensification, invasive non-native species like Rhododendron, pollution and climate change. We must overhaul how we use our land and seas to ensure that future generations like my three-year-old can grow up in a world rich in nature.
