Implement policies to promote worker ownership and control of businesses. We would not accept undemocratic running of our political institutions so why do we allow undemocratic institutions to control where we spend the majority of the day (at work). Worker ownership is vital to improving our democracy, workers rights and our economy. Worker owned businesses are also better placed to deal with the climate crisis as they operate on the democratic wishes of the workers instead of the pursuit of maximum profit that causes overproduction and ecological damage from traditional enterprises.
