Subsidies should not be provided for diesel buses or underused services. Operators should not be subsidised to run heavily polluting 20+ year old large diesel vehicles when they are more efficient Hydrogen or electric powered vehicles available. Vehicles should also be appropriately sized for the route, running double deckers for 3 people can not be environmentally efficient.
