NHS Scot Racial Education

Race: it has been reported that a non-insignificant number of healthcare professionals still hold dangerous misconceptions about BAME groups, one big one is the idea that Black woman feel less pain. Studies in the both the US and UK have shown that Black (especially female) patients are less likely to be offered pain relief, and less likely to be taking seriously by primary care providers. Admin note: This contribution has been separated into two separate ideas (the second part looked at religious education).
