More free, accessible, and inclusive public toilets

The Guardian reports that the number of public toilets in the UK has dropped 39% in the last 20 years. Lack of access to toilet facilities in public can be inconvenient or even lead to dangerous health complications for groups such as the disabled, the homeless, or trans/gender nonconforming people whose access to "proof of purchase only"/gender-restricted bathrooms in private businesses is limited. Public bathrooms should be free, gender-neutral, and accessible to those with disabilities. Note: A similar idea has already been proposed here but for sex-restricted bathrooms only. I refuse to support any public health initiative that supports only some marginalised parties while deliberately making life harder for trans and gender-nonconforming people.
