I live in a rural area of Scotland and it is near impossible to find places to live or rent for a reasonable price, due in part to a lack of housing but also due to homes being bought up and rented out as holidays homes via the likes of Air BnB. The government should do more to protect young, low income people and families so that the rural comunities of Scotland dont die out.
