Get rid of and stop accepting building requests for hostile architecture. Homeless people are struggling enough as it is and instead of putting energy into programs to get them in safe and stable homes, businesses and councils are more invested in spending money on spikes and bench dividers. Hostile architecture never has and never will be a solution to homelessness. Slanted and short benches at bus stops must be scrapped and replaced with proper benches- people sleeping on the streets deserve somewhere dry to rest. These bench designs are also inconvenient to everyone else, especially those with disabilities who cannot walk/stand for long periods of time and cannot sit down on these poor excuses of benches
