It should be the law that all workplaces accommodate women who are suffering due to the menopause. This often debilitating period in a woman's life can see your mental health suffer and your physical health too. Many women cannot take HRT to alleviate some of the worst symptoms of menopause so they suffer in silence at work. A workplace policy for the menopause needs to be law, Women should be given the option of part time hours , extra time for Dr visits and not have their pay docked for this. Work places that provide uniforms should also be considerate of women during menopause, they cannot wear clothing that is tight or that holds water. Menopausal women can have double figure hot flushes in a 24 hour period, having a uniform that is like the modern sports material makes all the difference to us
