What changes would you like to see in Session 6? Offer a low carbon menu in the garden level restaurant and for events. Using locally produced and less meat and dairy Sodexo could create a delicious, healthy, environmentally friendly option to meet customer demand. How can this help reduce the Parliament’s environmental impact and embrace sustainability? lower emissions from food miles and from animal methane


Can they use free-range chicken? More expensive, but better for welfare and if we do have less meat on the menu then it is better to have more expensive (as we are having it less often), higher welfare meat when it is on the menu

If we have to have less meet, then make the vegetarian option more varied and give the option of half potions for all meals, at 60% of the price. Sometimes a light lunch is better than a full meal and leads to less waste.
