What changes would you like to see in Session 6? Most meetings with external people are done by Teams or other app, rather than external people invited into the building How can this help reduce the Parliament’s environmental impact and embrace sustainability? It means that Parliament is not contributing to more travel as these people may drive, fly etc. in order to attend the meeting. On business days there was a huge number of people coming into the building for meetings (mainly Scot Gov staff meeting with Ministers) and this puts extra pressure on the resources of the building
Relationship building, partnership, community engagement for example, sometimes/often need in person. Not always but it does help build trust and understanding and supports long term working relationships. Agree we need flexible/digital ways of doing this but not a one way policy.
