Encourage landlords with incentives to provide pet friendly homes. Pets help improve people’s physical and mental health and social connections. Currently people are sometimes forced to choose between having a place to live or keeping their pet. This can lead to them giving up the animal, which causes immense distress to both, or remaining homeless because they will not live without their companion.
