Prosecute excessive vehicle noise (including motorcycles)

When I am out in the country walking I often hear motorbikes passing that have been modified to produce an excessive noise. This appears to be for the pleasure for the rider. It does not cause pleasure for those wanting a quiet walk in the countryside. People with autism are overwhelmed by loud noises and these loud noises can also frighten the elderly. Cities across Europe are clamping down on excessive noise pollution https://www.transportxtra.com/publications/local-transport-today/news/66302/clampdown-on-noisy-motorbikes-gains-pace-post-lockdown/ and the police in England are clamping down on excessive noise: https://www.bennetts.co.uk/bikesocial/news-and-views/news/2020/august/cambs-police-noise-testing-equipment and https://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/motorcycle-exhausts/ . Not enough is being done in Scotland. Please strengthen the law and install noise meters on trunk routes to catch and prosecute owners of vehicles causing excess noise pollution. Relevant existing legislation is The Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986
