The majority of folks haven’t got the message, much more needs to be done to get society to change its ways. Encourage the elimination of waste whether it’s leaving lights on or buying too much food, sitting in your car with the engine running etc. Small steps but collectively will impinge and make a difference. Government ran publicity campaigns for AIDS, Covid, selling off utility companies etc so clearly not difficult to do. Seriously disappointing that more has not already been done especially with Scotland hosting the climate event in November.
