Current govt has only offered benign neglect or knee jerk reaction to education. This typified by sitting on the OECD report until after the election then getting rid of SQA and Education Scotland. These organisations ( speaking with 42 years as secondary teacher and university teacher educator) need replaced but where is the research into what will be instead
