Many people who have a learning disability report not having a good experience when going to the doctors or dentist. It is very important that people feel comfortable looking after their health. We want the government to make sure that healthcare professionals are trained in communication with people who have a learning disability. We also think people who have a learning disability should be offered regular health checks in clinics that can look after all of our health needs in the same place.
