It is very clear from the malice prosecutions we have seen recently that a thorough review then change is needed within the existing Scottish Prosection Service. On no account should trials by juries be replaced by trials by judges. Root and branch reform is needed of the current legal system. Start with making sure that government cannot influence the prosection service.
