Introduce & promote working class history month

Introduce & promote working class history month

More should be done to highlight and acknowledge the contributions, achievements and successes of Scotland's working class people and communities. While the wealth divide within the UK is widening and more working class families are experiencing hardship, children and young people should have access to stories and history of role models from their working class communities and culture. This month can also be used to highlight the current struggles and hardships of today's working class and increase awareness of community resources to support people experiencing class related hardship or discrimination.
