Zero Hour Contracts

Zero Hour Contracts

Zero Hour contracts are illegal. An employees duty to their employer is to be "willing to work" which is not the same as actual work. An employers duty to their employee is to remunerate. The law says that the employee is entitled to the minimum wage. So therefore if an employee is willing to work a 37.5 working week, he should be at least entitled to the minimum wage from the employer not a zero hour contract which needs to be outlawed in society as bad law or unjust law.
