Paranoid Schizophrenia - need for non-clinical experts

Paranoid Schizophrenia - need for non-clinical experts

Paranoid Schizophrenia without a psychosis should have a non-clinical expert attached as a consultant report. Quite often the clinical consultant is out of his/her depth substantively. And follow up consultant reports just rubber stamp each other. It is not always about clinical need, where there is paranoia alleged then there should be a non-clinical intervention such as access to an expert consultant in the field at issue. The issue is about "knowledge" not clinical need and quite often all people diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia have a lack of understanding of their issues or the medical consultant is out of his/her depth on issues. This can lead to misdiagnosis and a person going round and round the system including Tribunals which are mickey mouse at best with no jurisprudence.
