Public Sector Procurement

Public Sector Procurement

Elected representatives and the government should actively consider their procurement policies beyond just price. They should be asking the questions regarding genuine certification at all levels of departments and public office. Parliamentary committees should investigate the supply chain of all Scottish Government departments and public sector organisations. Committees should pay particular focus to ethical and safety concerns of supply chains and possible counterfeit goods.
