Has transmission in Scottish schools been underestimated?

Recent international research suggests that children may play a bigger role in transmission that initially thought. e.g. research analysing how an increase of COVID-19 cases was related to to the timing of opening K-12 schools in the United States, using county level data (https://www.pnas.org/content/118/42/e2103420118) and research from Belgium looking at transmission of SARS-CoV-2 in primary school children (https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamanetworkopen/fullarticle/2784812). In light of such evidence, will the Scottish Government be increasing the level of in-school mitigations to prevent schools further amplifying the spread of Covid-19, including increasing ventilation and using HEPA air filters?
