Why is the guidance on COVID 19 symptoms so limited?

The British heart Foundation's website gives guidance that if you have cold symptoms you should get a PCR test as people who have been doubly vaccinated increasingly have these symptoms when positive. The ZOE Research programme has identified that cold/flu symptoms are increasingly symptoms of COVID 19. I recently had COVID 19, my only symptoms were a bad head cold, runny nose. I had no temperature, cough or loss of taste or smell. These symptoms refer to the Alpha strain, the Delta strain of COVID 19 has more symptoms. Why is the government advice on this not being updated? We are missing a trick to get more people tested, to get isolate them and track their contacts and limit the spread. Lots of people are innocently spreading now.
