Question from Diana Hemphill: Does the Scottish Government recognise dementia (100 different types) and Alzheimers as the physical disease which it is, and therefore should sufferers should benefit from the same medical care (paid for by the nhs) as someone with a brain injury or tumour? Or do they intend to charge dementia patients and their families for their care as happens at the moment?
