Parliament could create a minimum standard of response. For example initial acknowledgement of response. A follow up to explain how many responses and what happens next and then a follow up with information on the outcome of the inquiry. Signposting with more information Parliament has to find a way to improve communication to improve trust Traffic light system for inquiries to a central contact? Flagging up what has been addressed and what hasn't - Calls logged and a reference number that people can keep and rules as to how long someone would have to wait for a response. Parliaments showing people their participation is worthwhile and making people feel that their voice is being heard.
