Care staff need to be paid more to ensure they stay in the jobs . To few to look after elderly
That's where the biggest solutions are going to come from. Finding a way to show we care for those being cared for, often the elderly, by valuing the carers. Attracting people to work in care by paying them better.
Also stop putting a time limit on visits.Care does not mean run in give medication, heat up food, wash, pop to bed all in 30 mins. Hire more staff and give each patient at least an hour of company and unhurried care.
please support these services, in order to improve hospital discharges, and also to keep people at home where they want to be. perhaps if working conditions were improved then all else would follow and redirect the impact of hpsital admissions etc
