infrastructure

Rural communities are geographically excluded, both by road and digital technology. Often the road infrastructure is shut off completely due to weather or road accidents, this needs resolved and reliable infrastructure put in place - this includes reliable public transport and improvements in rail and road. Digital can play a huge part in resolving some of these geographical exclusion, and in some cases has already done so. To build on the successes of digital we need improved connectivity, at affordable to ALL prices. We also need support for the sectors of society who can not access digital (no device, connectivity, low skills). This must include a digital inclusion programme support at senior level.

Points

Why should we be offered digital as a first we should be offered specialist visits on the ofset and digital as an alternative.
