Provision of care at home services - increase pay to enable better recruitment and keep remote and rural folk at home as long as they wish to live there.
lack of care staff means that care needs in the community are not met. It should be a priority to help people stay in their own home for as long as possible, or as long as is wished, to do this more home care is needed.
If funded, locally-based charities could provide volunteers to support patients at home. Not for nursing or specialist services but, for example, shopping, cleaning, company and reassurance
