Impossible to travel to an appointment on public transport

It’s impossible for me to travel to an appointment on public transport in a single day (over 100 miles) and you won’t be given access to transport provided by the hospital if you are deemed able enough to use public transport.

Points

It causes significant anxiety to already unwell, elderly clients in particular (in my experience) Nothing can be relied upon and they are left alone and isolated. those that are able to use a telephone and are assertive, will keep phoning lots of services until they get the assistance required, others who do not like to 'make a fuss' are left behind and miss appointments, become unwell.
